How to Play Mancala Logic
Use this guide for both JSON puzzle challenges and the full single-player game against the computer.
Goal: collect more seeds in your store than the opponent. In Puzzle Challenge mode, your goal is to choose the correct move from the answer choices. In Single Player mode, play a full game as Player A against the AI.
① Board Layout
A1–A6Your pits on the bottom row. In Single Player mode, you play from these pits.
B1–B6The opponent or AI pits on the top row.
Store AYour collection pit on the right side of the board.
Store BThe opponent or AI collection pit on the left side of the board.
② Basic Move
Choose a non-empty pit on your side.
Pick up all seeds from that pit.
Sow one seed at a time counterclockwise into each next pit or your store.
Skip the opponent’s store.
The final landing spot determines capture or extra-turn results.
③ Capture Rule
If your last seed lands in an empty pit on your own side, and the directly opposite opponent pit contains seeds, you capture those seeds plus your landing seed into your store.
④ Extra Turn Rule
If your last seed lands in your own store, you earn another turn. Use this to build combinations and keep control of the board.
⑤ Puzzle Challenge Mode
Load a JSON puzzle pack by difficulty and mode.
Read the challenge prompt.
Study the board and choose the strongest answer.
The app verifies your choice and shows the solution path.
⑥ Single Player Game Mode
You are Player A. The computer is Player B.
Legal moves are highlighted on your turn.
Use captures, extra turns, and seed control to beat the AI.
The game ends when one side has no seeds left.
Strategy Tips
Count before moving: trace where the last seed will land.
Look for Store A landings: extra turns can swing the game.
Protect your captures: avoid leaving easy capture setups for the AI.
Use the Suggest Move button: it teaches the strongest tactical move from the current position.
